The Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti state (ABUAD) was established as an agent of transforming education in Nigeria.
The university is designed too be a reference point for other universities on planning, environment and other structures including quality education.
To gain admission into ABUAD as an undergraduate student you will require to have at least five o’level credit passes – including Mathematics and English Language – at not more than two sittings for social sciences or Arts subjects.
Other subjects may include: credit passes in Economics or commerce, Government, Account and Financial Accounting
This include admission into Business Administration.
Intending students are expected to pay the sum of N10,500 into some of the Nigerian banks with their ABUAD undergraduate account number for their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
However, candidates who did not choose ABUAD in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are also qualified to participate in the Post UTME screening.
The category of students will be required to pay N2,500 for change of institution and N10,500 for the Post-UTME Form into any of the banks.
Admission into ABUAD for non direct entry candidates is subject to successful passing of the UTME Examination and the Post-UTME screening.

Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent can also apply for admission provided the result will be available at resumption of the new session.
