As you probably know, Npower Nigeria recruits many young people every year in order to remedy the youth unemployment situation. The most recent wave of applications has ended, but it does not mean you should not be prepared for the next one. Learn how to write NPower test, so that you know what to expect next year.

How to write NPower test online

You are most likely aware of how you can register for one of the Npower programmes. To recap, you need to go to portal.npower.gov.ng, select the programme of your choice and enrol. In a few days, you should receive a confirmation e-mail.

What is important to mention is that you can only get to the assessment stage if you have provided accurate records of your Bank Verification Number (BVN). If your BVN records are confirmed, you will receive a text message one day before you need to write your test. If they are not, your application will be discontinued.

When you receive your message, here is what you need to do:

  1. Go to apply.npower.gov.ng/test.
  2. Select the category you have applied for out of the options you see before you.
  3. To log in, fill in the fields that require your phone number and BVN and click Login.
  4. Once you see the dashboard, find the large link that says ‘CLICK HERE TO START’ (and do the same on the next page) to begin your test.
  5. If you try to access the test before it is available, you will be greeted with the message that will say when you can access it and when it will close.
