The governors of the 19 Northern states in Nigeria are currently meeting at the kaduna state Government House for the second lap of their discussion on North’s position in the crisis rocking the country.
The governors had earlier met with some traditional rulers in the region in a meeting hosted by the Kaduna state governor Nasir El-Rufai on Thursday, July 27.
The governors’ meeting NAIJ.com gathered is in line with plans by the Northern leader to discuss the state of nation.
The leaders are also expected to discuss the position of the Northern region in Nigeria especially with the growing agitation for the secession of various parts of the Nigeria.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that the Northern Governors Forum met with Emirs and chiefs in January.
The leaders meeting was focused on finding a lasting solution to the violence and incessant attacks by Fulani herdsmen.

The governor of Borno state Kashim Shettima said the meeting will also find a solution to socio-economic and security problem affecting the region.
